![]() Madison leaders are discussing plans this spring to remake a west side
golf course, following a donation from a family of golf enthusiasts and
designers. Construction on the Odana Hills Golf Course is scheduled to start this
fall, city staff said at a recent Madison Parks meeting. Staff discussed
plans to convert the golf course into “Odana Hills Golf Park,” which
would create more open green space and become more inviting to regulars
and non-golfers alike. The city’s parks department is planning to request about $6.3 million in capital funding over the next few years for golf park improvements and the clubhouse replacement, staff told the Cap Times. The Odana Hills project would also be funded through a donation from a couple, Michael and Jocelyn Keiser, in partnership with the Madison Parks Foundation, the nonprofit organization that supports city nature conservation...
