![]() Wisconsin’s federal workers are fighting for their positions following the Trump administration’s recently ordered mass layoffs, Wisconsin Public Radio reports. Wisconsin has roughly 3,000 federal workers who have been serving for less than one or two years in their current roles, according to the most recent available federal data. These workers, often referred to as probationary employees, have been the first to be fired as President Donald Trump and the Department of Government Efficiency, led by Elon Musk, look to cut down the federal workforce.
