MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The River Food Pantry is building a new beginning as it has started construction on a new facility. After raising more than $11 million, organizers say the new building with be more than 32,000 square feet which is triple the size of the current warehouse. “The River has needed more space since I joined the organization over a decade ago,” Rhonda Adams, Executive Director of The River, said. “With demand at an all-time high in 2024, this expansion cannot come soon enough.
