Madison’s West Area Plan may be the contentious topic debated among residents right now, but the city has done the same amount of work for the Northeast Area Plan, spanning nearly 6,000 acres from south of the airport to the East Towne Mall.The Northeast plan has mostly flown under the public’s radar.
