A record 111 container ships are floating off California`s busiest ports, despite Biden`s 24/7 schedule and looming fines
The number of container ships stuck off the coast of Southern California reached new records on Tuesday.

According to data from the Marine Exchange, a total of 111 container ships are bobbing at sea around the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, waiting to dock and unload. That breaks the previous record of 108 vessels reported on October 21.

RSK: My take on this is; we need to ease restrictions on trucking and dual trailers. Since we have less truckers we need to tandem the trailers for now. Secondly, there is a lot of empty commercial space out there. Not necessarily warehousing but vacant class c and b office space,. Let`s get creative and use some of that and use it as storage. We could also put up temporary warehousing if cities would have an emergency zoning ordinance to allow this. Let`s get creative US!
