This is why large retailers like Amazon, Walmart & Costco won’t be as impacted by fresh tariffs

A 10% tariff scheduled to go into effect on September 1 drove declines in retail stocks on Monday morning, but Moody’s says there are some major retailers that are insulated from the impact.

Walmart Inc. WMT, -0.01%, Target Corp. TGT, -0.50%, Costco Wholesale Corp. COST, -0.46%, Amazon.com Inc. AMZN, -0.48% and Best Buy Co Inc.
